Materials & Craftsmanship
The exterior of the tray is crafted from LGW Gold-certified full grain vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, while the interior is lined with soft goat suede leather. The cowhide, tanned at Sepici, one of Turkey’s leading tanneries, develops a unique natural patina over time. The suede interior provides a soft, tactile contrast that elevates the visual harmony of the tray.
Each corner of the Monte tray is meticulously folded and reinforced using 5 mm French-style chisels, then stitched entirely by hand using the traditional saddle stitch technique, Japanese polyester dry waxed thread, and dual needles. This construction not only ensures long-lasting durability but also creates a clean, professional finish ideal for workspaces.
