Materials & Craftsmanship
This cover is made from LGW Gold-certified full grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, processed at Sepici, one of Turkey’s most respected tanneries. The natural tanning method allows the leather to develop a unique personal patinaover time, gaining character with every use.
Each Magnus cover is constructed using 5 mm French-style chisels, precisely punching the leather edges. These are aligned with micrometric accuracy, then hand-stitched using the traditional saddle stitch technique, Japanese polyester dry waxed thread, and dual needles. This method ensures a structure that will never unravel, and matures beautifully with age.
One A5 casebound (hardcover) notebook (80 sheets / 160 pages) with 90 gsm ivory paper is included as a complimentary gift.
